Holiday Gift Box

Client: Bad Robot

Overview: As part of the Bad Robot Workshop team, I designed the graphic elements for this curated gift box. The overall sentiment was to transmit simplicity and foster repair, gathering, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

Objective: Design a campaign and kit that motivates young voters to take action by simplifying the process of outreach and making participation feel tangible, engaging, and approachable.

Quantity: 2000 gift boxes - curated, designed, and assembled at The Bad Robot Workshop


Holiday Gift components:

    • Lettering design and illustration

    • Letterpressed on 210 lettra

    • Exterior: Label design, printed on Neenah label paper

    • Interior: muslin bag stamp design

    • Pattern design for wrapping paper based on card components

    • Printed on 30 lb Kraft Paper Sheets

  • Design a stack of 27 cards divided into 3 sections - “Play, Prepare, Ponder” - all wrapped in black individually gold foil-stamped cardstock

    • Play: 12 games and activities - 110# lettra - layout + illustration + printing

    • Prepare: 12 recipes - 0.022” chipboard - layout + printing

    • Ponder: 12 quotes - 220# lettra, letterpressed - layout + file prep for letterpress plates

    • “What’s in your gift?” card - layout + printing

    • Holiday letter - layout + file prep for letterpress plate

    • Leather trivet - design + file prep for leather die cut and stamping manufacturer

    • Rolling Pin - illustration for engraving (in-house)
