Client: Bad Robot Audio & Spotify
Brief: Create a bespoke gift box for cast and executives for Dear Felicity, a podcast that revisits the famous TV show, Felicity, 25 years after its premiere on the WB.
Design & production- challenges and solutions:
Create a visual and product tie between the TV show and the podcast: we opted to record each episode on a cassette as a call-back to the show and its main character, Felicity, who journaled her life by recording cassettes
Design J-fold cover and interior, as well as cassette labels for Side A & B
Hire and outsource cassette duplication per episode at low volume (2-4 cassettes/per episode)
Source cassette player
Create a custom box insert to highlight the cassette and fit the cassette player
